GOTTHARD: Italian Concert Cancellation Explained
December 10, 2007Swiss hard rock band GOTTHARD has cancelled its previously announced four-date Italian mini-tour after singer Steve Lee was taken ill. "We had hoped that Steve [would be] back on track [by now], but unfortunately that is not the case right now," the group writes in a statement. "We hope to [be able to announce] new dates for the cancelled shows as soon as possible."
The affected dates are as follows:
Dec. 10 – Florence, ITA - Viper
Dec. 11 - Rome, ITA - Circolo Degli Artisti
Dec. 13 - Treviso, ITA - New Age
Dec. 15 - Milan, ITA - Transylvania

Nuclear Blast Records released "Domino Effect", the twelfth studio album by GOTTHARD, in North America on September 18.
Touting eleven Number 1 albums and six Top 10 singles in their career, GOTTHARD has opened for such renowned artists as AC/DC, DEEP PURPLE, BRYAN ADAMS and BON JOVI throughout Europe. The band has also had the honor of performing at the world-famous Montreux Jazz Festival, is two-time winner of its native country's Prix Walo Award, recipient of Monaco's International Music Award, and has had its music featured on the soundtrack to the European television series "Frankie".
